The major focus of my laboratory has been the creation and implementation of animal models that assist in the study of wound healing and infection. Many of these pre-clinical evaluations are used to help with FDA submissions.

2011 2nd Place Best Laboratory Research Award. The topical effect of plant derived oil, monoterpene, Periklean-OH liquid gel, on Methicillin Resistant Staphyococcus aureus and Acintobacter baumannii in an in vivo porcine wound model.
