Teaching and Learning Facilities

Many of your classes will take place in Dermatology department, specifically, the Dermatology Library (George Ioannides, M.D., Dermatology Library). This is our newly renovated space (located on the 2nd floor of the Rosenstiel Medical Science Building (RMSB), room 2090, and is a state of the art teaching complex has two newly installed 90 inch LED TV screens, podium, and a new desk-top computer and live auto-recording system.

Dermatology Conference Room: located in the RMSB building room 2023A near the Dermatology Library. This modern conference room is about 318 square feet, holds faculty meeting, lab meeting and group meeting or small conferences. This room can accommodate about 20 people.

The Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery has 8 basic and translational research laboratories with labs between 400 and 1,000 square feet in size for each lab, 7 labs are located in the RMSB building 2nd floor and adjacent to each other, with an additional lab located in the Biomedical Research Building (next to the RMSB). All labs will be open to students of this program as lab rotations (DER661-662-663) will give thesis and non-thesis students a practical hands-on experience with our research.
