The Dr. Phillip Frost Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery has been at the forefront of dermatology education for decades. Another example is this hybrid degree program, with 60% of course credit on campus, and 40% online. This program has specifically been designed and developed to support the needs of working professionals. So our courses are designed to be taken via campus-based classroom classes and online classes (synchronous & asynchronous). Students are expected to attend on campus classes and participate in live, real-time interactive web-based sessions. All assignments will be turned in online. Online course materials include web-based presentations, readings, and activities. Course materials will be posted on the University of Miami course learning management system Blackboard (http://www.courses.miami.edu).
