Facial and Leg Vein Treatment

Facial and leg veins or telangiectasias are small superficial blood vessels that commonly occur on the skin. Telangiectasias may be treated with various modalities including lasers and the traditional sclerotherapy or “vein injections”. Either treatment destroys the unwanted vessels and redirects the flow to veins deeper below the skin’s surface.

Your dermatologist will determine which treatment option is best for your individual needs, in order to achieve the best cosmetic results. For sclerotherapy, newer available solutions offer painless and more efficacious results. No sedation or anesthesia is required, and patients may return to work immediately.
