Chemical Resurfacing

Chemical resurfacing or chemical peels are procedures that consist on application of a chemical solution to improve the texture and color of the facial skin by removing the abnormal or damaged outer layers. Chemical peels may be used for various medical and cosmetic conditions including acne, melasma, uneven pigmentation and skin aging.

Your dermatologist will determine which chemical agent is indicated for your individual concerns and skin type, to achieve the best cosmetic results. There are options available for all skin types and colors. No sedation or anesthesia is required. Discomfort is usually minimal and recovery time will vary depending on the chemical agent used.

We offer hydroquinone, retinoic acid, glycolic acid, salicylic acid and trichloroacetic acid peels and other chemical peels.
